RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS

Are you a bereaved parent, who has been bereaved for at least 3 years, living in or around London? Could you offer telephone support to others affected by the death of a child of any age?

We are looking to recruit volunteers for training in the autumn. Training and Supervision are provided by professionals and experienced volunteers.

For more information ring the Child Death Helpline on 020 78138550.

FRIENDS OF THE CHILD DEATH HELPLINE

If you have taken a look at the website and would like to offer your support to the work our volunteers do, you might like to become a 'Friend'.

This means that for an annual subscription of £5, to cover costs, you would receive a twice yearly newsletter.

You would have the opportunity to learn about us and then perhaps support the work more actively by raising awareness of the service in your own locality.

This might be by distributing information packs, talking to small groups or simply being our local contact for your geographical area.
If you have the enthusiasm you might consider fund raising to help pay for the freephone line or publicity materials.

See the 'contact us' page and let us know if you are interested in being a 'Friend'.
